Peter Minear is a four-time Pennsylvania State Champion in years 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2014.  He is a Senior Master and was once rated in the Top 100 in the nation.  Peter is the winner of several master-invitational tournaments and many of Shining Knights' Friday Night Action tournaments.   He played for the Philadelphia Inventors of the United States Chess League.  Peter offers private lessons and has had several students currently rated in the top 100 in the country for their age group.  At most Shining Knights tournaments, Peter is on-site to analyze games for any students that take good notation.
