Tournament Results: Spring Rumble

In the Spring Rumble, top seeded Joshua Reardon won the Championship section by going 4-0.  Hunters Woods was the top team in the section, led by Parv Ahuja and Nathan Tankel.

The brother/sister combination of Gregory and Claire Revesz won the K-12 U-900 and K-6 U-500 sections, respectively, though Gregory tied with Anish Sriniketh in the final round, and both Gregory and Anish finished with 3.5. Anish also helped Bull Run Elementary School to win the team trophy.  McNair Elementary just edged out the host school, Floris Elementary, to win the K-6 U-500 section.  David Argueta and Santiago de la Cerda guided McNair to the victory, each scoring three points.

Michael Tischler and Gabriel Gladstone both won their unrated quads.

Chess League Results

USCF Rating Report

Bridge Valley Elementary School (K-8) and Whitemarsh Elementary School (K-3) took first place in their respective divisions of the first Silver Knights Chess league, held throughout the winter in Wayne, PA.  Rated results for the K-8 section are linked above, and full team results are below the fold.

Tournament Results: Liberty Scholastic #2

Andrew J Song won the championship section in Liberty Scholastic #2, going a perfect 4-0.  He beat out Vishal Kobla, Chase Kane, and Nakul Dar, who all finished with 3/4.  Floris Elementary School was the top team in the section.

Lucas Burt won the K-6 U-500 by winning all of his games.  Parth Vakil, Jayeesh Chennupati, and Siddharth Vishweshwaran all finished with three wins.  Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School won the team competition.

In the Unrated Quads, Sophia Revesz, Satwik Bisoi, Nithin Jonnalagadda, Shreya Papneja, and Neel Davuluri all won their unrated quads.  Full results for all unrated quads are below the fold.
